How to use:

  • Pull the tabs: Pull down firmly on the visible release tapes to pull the blanket from its container.
  • Protect your hands: Fold the top edge of the blanket over your hands to shield them from the heat.
  • Approach with care: Walk slowly toward the fire with your arms extended forward.
  • Cover the fire: Gently place or drape the blanket completely over the burning pan or object—do not throw it, as this can splash burning grease.
  • Turn off the heat: If safe, turn off the stove or power source.
  • Leave it in place: Leave the blanket undisturbed until it is completely cool to prevent the fire from reigniting.
